Denver, CO

Made it to Denver.  Got  a bad tank of gas from Qwest in Hays, KS.  Didn't think we were going to get here.  Bug kept acting like it was starving for fuel.  As long as I kept the speed way up... Like over 80 I could pump the gas pedal and get it to recover.  I was trying to make it to Limon, CO.  Whew, stressful.  When I slowed down at the exit it died.  Turned on flashers and restarted.  Then turned on to overpass, died again.  Turned into station, died again.  I was getting pretty frantic.  Was down to a third of a tank and filled up with premium.  Ran fine the rest of the way to Denver.  I think we'll be OK now.  At least I hope so, we're headed to some isolated territory today.

We checked into our hotel and were very pleased.  Sometimes the Sheratons have club rooms where you can get snacks and drinks at no charge.  We like that part.  Breakfast, too.  The Four Points in Washington DC did not have a club room.  Anyway this is a nice hotel with good amenities.  Cost us $30.  Teresa likes it enough to stay here another night.  Not happening, I think.  We'll see, I want to get on to Green River, UT.

Having a little trouble with my internal clock, it thinks we're still in DC.  Oh well.
